Welcome to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in North Syracuse

Located at 137 Gertrude Street, North Syracuse, New York, our church is a welcoming place for all who seek to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and connect with a community of devoted followers. As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we hold a profound belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and the Savior of the World. His love for humanity is boundless, and through His life, ministry, sacrifice, and resurrection, we find salvation from sin, suffering, and death.

Join Us for Worship

Our worship services are designed to bring people closer to Christ and to each other. While service times may vary between congregations, you can always expect a main worship service known as the "sacrament meeting." This gathering includes uplifting songs, heartfelt prayers, and inspiring sermons delivered by different members each week. The highlight of this meeting is the taking of the sacrament, a sacred moment to remember the Savior. Following the sacrament meeting, we offer classes for children, youth, and adults. Discover the Temple

For Latter-day Saints, temples are sacred places distinct from regular church buildings. In the temple, members receive special instruction about God and Jesus Christ and make eternal covenants. These promises include living by the commandments, following the gospel of Jesus Christ, being faithful in marriage, and supporting one another. We believe in eternal families, and much of the work done in temples strengthens these bonds. Marriages performed in temples are meant to endure beyond this life, and through sacred ordinances, ancestors can receive blessings on their behalf. Temples are truly busy and blessed places!
