"The village needs to update the broken equipment soon. The playground area is from when there was a school here. Most of it is broken. Railings missing, exposed metal, broken parts in the playground. They don't even pick up the trash. People don't use the trash cans and the neighbors are the who clean up the entire park. They just put the basketball nets back up, but there's no longer a fence around the entire park. The village can put money into placing spotlights, cameras, and another useless pavilion here, but they can't fix the actual playground equipment!! If you're in Solvay, find another park. Update 11/07/21: After contacting the mayor, I was told that thousands of dollars was put into "renovations" and nothing else can be done until AFTER elections! He has done nothing to help except make more issues! He claims Boyd is one of his priorities, but clearly it never will be!"
