Walmart Auto Care Centers 103 North Caroline Street, Herkimer, NY 13350

"The Herkimer Walmart Auto Don't-Cares center is a terrible run organization. I have been denied service 3 times in as many attempts by them for many reasons. One time the tire lube center was out of oil, even though there were multiple shelves full of oil three feet away. One time, they had me wait 40 minutes for an oil change, and then someone went home early and they closed the place at 5 when they were open until 7. Today, I went to have the headlight bulbs replaced, due to them both blowing, and they could not do it because it is Walmarts policy to not change the headlight bulbs if they have to remove any screws, side note, a different Walmart had no problem doing it. I can forgive one instance, but three instances is a pattern. They should just close this place until they can find people willing to do a little work."

"They need a system that allows people to book appointments, they are understaffed and wait times are longer than they ever were. I get out of work at 5 and I’m unable to bring my car over for an oil change because they are already closing by that time, even though their closing time says 7pm."

"Called auto center and direct line to Walmart. My daughter was over an hour from home with a car issue. I directed her off the thruway to the Herkimer location. No one responded. Absolutely no help..no one answered either line. Just kept ringing"

"My sister and I were traveling through the state and got a screw in our tire. We rolled into the Walmart tire center 15 minutes before closing. Larry and his coworker were very nice and checked out the car. Turns out that we needed a new tire and they were kind enough to install it even though they were ready to go home. I do appreciate their kindness and professionalism."
