"I feel pretty confident they just lie about your vehicle requiring service when it doesn't. We have my vehicle checked with the dealership every 6 months and yet, every time we bring the car to Mavis, there's "something wrong" that "needs to be fixed to pass inspection." Update: I just refused the service they wanted to do on my car and when I went to pick it up there was a brand new creaking sound when driving my car. I do not trust these people at all and you shouldn't either."

"Zac at Mavis is absolutely amazing. I ran into an issue with a pothole in Ilion and had to have my vehicle towed due to 2 flats as a result of the pothole. "My fiancee's car is 2018 Ford Focus w 51,245 miles. Store: Herkimer NY NYS Inspection: 9 months earlier @48,778 Miles Service was all new brakes, 3 new tires and wheel alignment. They put 2 new tires on the rear and 1 tire on the drivers front. (Note) This is Front Wheel Drive. You're supposed to put new tires on front! 2nd Visit: We went in for the drivers front tire, which was shot after 9 months, and 5k miles from the last service was performed. They took advantage of us. The store manager was a 20 year old kid. They had the car 16 days, and they broke 6 additional other parts (NOT Needed) on the car while replacing the front struts. Broke these parts: Both front lower control arms, R/F drive axle, F/R wheel bearing, R/F Spindle, and a Bolt. (Windshield Pic) They couldn't even readjust the windshield wipers. We even gave them 1 additional day. Waiting for the regional manager to call us for 2 weeks about the car situation. During the 16th day about the 11th day, we left a comment/email on the Corporate website and didn't hear from anyone? We are going to Corporate in person and then to Court. Then report to the Better business bureau. If this is not resolved? Note: All we needed was 2 new tires on Front, according to another 3rd Party 30 year experienced Mechanic. After the fact. Why? UNDER INFLATION Driver front tires worn-out? Caused: Rim not cleaned properly or tire bead not sealed properly? Weeks earlier (Tire pressure light came on) It was 26lbs from 32. They did not clean or seal the bead on tire. The 2 rear new tires were 28 lbs at 70 degrees outside. The vehicle drives like crap. We are getting an appointment with Ford Dealership to check out the vehicle. Which is another cost of $200 that we can't afford at this time. We are very stressed out. My girl went to see her psychiatrist about this matter as it triggered her anxiety for 13 of 16 days, the car was in the shop. She also had to rent a car for 14 days. We are in the hole for $2,500. Again, we were taken advantage of because we were close to being a senior of citizens. We will never go to ANY Mavis shop again!!! We are so stressed out still. This is so unfair. Positive review: Zack and Clive felt very bad about the store manager dealings, and Zack apologized a million times day by day. He should be the new store manager."
