At Sword and the Spirit, we embrace the dual nature of our name, reflecting our commitment to both the Word and the Spirit.

Our fellowship is often described as a "Word" church, where everything we do is grounded in scripture. We invite you to join us in breaking the bread of the Word during our services, encouraging a deeper understanding and connection with God's teachings. We believe in testing all that we say and do against the scriptures, ensuring our actions align with God's will.

Additionally, we are a "Spirit Filled" or "Charismatic" Fellowship, recognizing the ongoing presence and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit, as outlined in 1 Corinthians 12 and 14, are alive and active today, guiding and empowering us 24/7. Our faith is anchored in the belief that Jesus remains constant and available to save, heal, and deliver us, just as He was two thousand years ago.

Inspired by the prophetic words of Smith Wigglesworth in 1947, we aim to be part of the great revival he foresaw—one that combines the restoration of the Spirit's gifts with a renewed emphasis on the Word of God. At Sword and the Spirit, we are dedicated to fostering this transformative movement within the Church of Jesus Christ.
