"Do you remember when there were little diners where people gathered daily and the grill was right behind the counter and the waitresses were friendly and joked around? The food was straightforward, and coffee just kept showing up? These days are not entirely gone. Harris Diner in Owego is like stepping back into another era. In the best possible way. My cheese omelet had 2 eggs, A large sausage patty, and american cheese. It was simple and yummy. The overall vibe was 5 ☆'s. I left happy that little pieces of diner history are still out there."

"When a place makes their own sausage patties, they get my attention. You've got to appreciate a small business that has even around for years. They also make their own biscuits and sausage gravy, and they are delicious. I like that their home fries are not too crispy brown. My go to is the sausage, egg, and cheese on a biscuit."
