"Staff offered to drive us from the plane to the terminal to stay dry -extremely kind gesture for roughly thirty feet. Loved that they had water for our puppy. Surprisingly busy despite the small unassuming size of this FBO, everyone was polite, professional, and helpful"

"For claiming to have the “world’s best service”, they fell far, far short of my expectations. Fuel is ridiculously overpriced and they do not waive any fees for a minimum purchase as is the norm at any other FBO. They just discount the ramp fee by a measly $100 if you buy $4000 worth of Jet A. The front desk told my passengers that we “weren’t there yet”, even though we’d been on their ramp for well over an hour, had taken fuel and had physically checked in with the CSR when we arrived. Perhaps she just couldn’t see the airplane because they parked us way out in the back 40. Then, when my copilot requested a van to take our 7 passengers to the airplane, which was parked on the south ramp a long way from the FBO, the CSR said that all the vans were busy and they didn’t know when anyone would be available to drive my passengers, so they had to walk to the plane. This is absolutely NOT how you win loyal customers. This was amateur hour at best. I was completely embarrassed by the way Sheltair treated my passengers and I will be using the new FBO next time I’m at KFOK."

"We got none of the departure services requested except fuel which took forever. Hopefully they can improve their services."

"Ground personal was helpful. Anything else was blah. Called ahead to have jet “staged“. When I arrived it was in the fifth and last row. First two rows were almost completely empty. Asked if they could move the jet to the front of the building for convenience. They said they don’t do that. Went to go get a cup of coffee for myself. Not available. Are there crew waters or snacks? Nope. Asked for a vacuum. Got one but the battery was dying. I informed the ground personnel that the battery was dying and in their words, “the only thing they change around here are the employees”. When my passengers arrived, they had a bunch of bags so we then had to transfer them into an FBO van and drive them out to the jet. For $1500 in parking and fees you will get very little."
