"straight garbage. slowest software ever. if you want a customer to really wait for the software to add their account to the system, you are in luck. they will wait at least 15 to 20 minutes for something that should take 3. They will even take you account, and give it to someone else. Back up your stuff, or it will be gone forever. Need customer support? you have to sit at the comptuer and watch them do it virtually through yours. save money, save time, and just find another option. plenty out there."
"I have used Syrasoft for more than 3 years and have been happy for the most part. Sure some bugs, but i found ways of working around them.. Earlier this year I began experiencing a less than satisfactory system, a huge downgrade in the product. Three primary issues. The company forced us to use their cardprocessor services (Syrapay). The processor platform has functioned well. The issue is Syrasoft app is not compatible with Syrapay. Therefore, can't use mobile device to accept card payments. Support says the solution is to move to their browser base. As it is new, may be risk with that migration. Second issue is text messaging quit. One of my customers told me they were not receiving regular text. My Syrasoft logs reported msg were being sent. Imagine my reaction when I was told by support that it has been broken for a couple of weeks. The company had no respect to notify us the text system was down. Been down for about 4 weeks now, no date on when it will be available. The 3rd issue, in middle of this mayhem, Syrasoft has raised monthly rate 25%. Marketing needs to review this: serious system issues so they raise the price. No so professional a decision."
"We have been using the online version of software and to be honest its has its glitches and problems. Emails, texting and online payments have issues. customer service was good during the set up and transfer of old data, still had to correct allot of data from the transfer. Now issues with credit card processing, turns out the restrict use for online payment through their web site and you have to use their service "No Choice"; processing was shut down from the previous merchant provider "Worldpay"; this was shut down on the 20th of this month. Contacted tech support and got a rude person informing me they sent emails over a year about the change and nothing he can do to help and blew me off. Told me to contact SyraPay and check my emails. Going through all kinds of issues now trying to get CC processing up again. Will be looking for another management system in the near future. Starlite Storage, Oregon."
"I'm surprised there aren't any negative reviews. NOTE: notice all the positive reviews are from years ago. Current reviews are negative. I currently use two other software systems to manage two other storage facilities. Syrasoft is an inferior product and their support is unpleasant, at best. When I took over management of this facility in June 2023, the Owner was using a desktop-based version. It was sync'd to the cloud but very slow. Entering a single payment could take 1-2 minutes on a fast computer with fast internet. I switched to the web-based version as quickly as possible. It is more responsive, but not as robust as the desktop version or as good as the other two softwares I use. Syrasoft Tech Support explained the migration process and recommended I not enter anything for a few days to prevent data loss. I stopped entering data several days before the transition was supposed to take place. I didn't hear anything for a week, so I contacted Tech Support. They had transitioned my data a week prior but never told me, didn't provide any instructions for login, or even tell me what website to use. I worked with George during this time and he didn't seem really familiar with the software . . . or computers . . . or customer service. A simple question (when will I get my login and password?) would turn into 30-minute calls. I kindly explained that I am familiar with software and could figure it out on my own, but George would walk me through things even though he seemed to be figuring them out as he went. I was a new user and didn't want to upset the apple cart, so I would let him plod along while smiling and making polite conversation. Fast forward a couple weeks and I'm entering rent payments in the online software. I notice payments made in June didn't migrate over. I contact Tech support and connect with Chris. I apparently interrupted something more important because he started with an unfriendly attitude and managed to maintain it throughout our five-minute conversation. His final solution to the improper data migration? Enter everything again. Thank God I only have 92 units to deal with! I don't own the facility or decide what software to use. If I did, I would definitely move to a different platform that is better, cheaper, and more customer oriented."
