Van Buren Central Park

"We were at the indoor pavilion - it made the whole event great for our family & friends! What a wonderful place tucked away! If you have something you need to hold ...this is perfect for 15-50 people. It even has a great fireplace inside (kitchen & bathrooms too). Great views -esp on top of the hill, if you're brave enough... Great to sled down in winter! Also, Frisbee golf.⛳"

"I have lived in the Phoenix/ Fulton areas my entire life and I had NEVER known this was here until a few weeks ago. This park is DIVINE! My kids LOVED it. I haven't seen a public pool in a long time (given splash pads have taken over), so this was a real surprise for us. Unfortunately we only got to visit twice all summer given I just found out about it. However, I absolutely plan to bring my kids back next summer. I liked the pinic areas, all the provided natural shade, the pavilions, as well as the on site grills and the kids park. The ONLY thing I wish they had was "summer passes" for the pool. Generally I have atleast 4 of us going, so $16/day definitely adds up if we are coming 2/3x a week. It can become a large expense for families. Aside from that I highly recommend this area!"

"A really beautiful green park with a small creek running through it. Plenty of paths to walk and small play structures located throughout the park. We even saw a few disc golf baskets hidden on the outskirts of the park."

"I took my son there for the first time. Awesome place with lots of room. Pavilions, playgrounds spaced apart. It has tennis courts, and a basket ball court as well near the Canton St entrance. There is a pond, no swimming but you can fish and would be a great place for RC model airplanes, boats or cars. Side note... HUGE HILL for sledding in the winter! I will be back again."
