Welcome to Lot 1, your convenient parking solution at Stony Brook University, located at 100 Circle Road, Stony Brook, New York 11790. Whether you're visiting the campus or a member of the university community, Lot 1 offers a variety of paved parking options to meet your needs.

Visitor Parking: If you're a guest at Stony Brook University, feel free to park in any designated visitor areas. For all other campus visitors, please ensure your vehicle is registered and displays a valid parking permit issued by Parking Services. To understand the full parking guidelines, please refer to the Parking Rules and Regulations on our website.

Evening/Weekend Parking: Enjoy unrestricted parking in most lots from 4 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday, and all day on weekends. Please be sure to check for any specific restrictions posted at lot entrances.

24/7 Restricted Areas: Certain areas require a valid permit at all times, including ADA accessible spaces, and lots marked as "Restricted 24 Hour Parking." These include Faculty/Staff lots near the Computer Center, Math/Physics Building, Lake Drive, Student Health Center, and Automotive Repair Facility, as well as Life Sciences zones and all three parking garages (HSC, Hospital, and Administration). Non-garage and non-metered spots also require a valid permit.

Summer Session Parking: From May 19, 2024, to August 17, 2024, commuter students can park in designated lots with a valid Commuter Premium or Commuter Standard permit. Resident students can utilize any residential zones 1-5 with an appropriate residential zone permit.
