"I was extremely satisfied with my experience at Dr. Nick's. When i found out it was a transmission problem, a simple Google search showed me this location. I'm glad I went there! After checking it out, it was determined I need a new transmission. I had already been on the hunt for a new car so upon hearing this news I decided not to repair it, but was going out of town and wasn't sure if I'd have time to get back to pick it up (I expected it to be there a few days at least). They offered to hold onto it for me and said I could pick it up when I got back. I sincerely appreciate their honesty, explaining the process and pricing. Then their hospitality and understanding was more than I could have expected from most auto shops. They not only stored it for me but wouldn't take a penny either. No diagnostic fee, no storage fee. No playing games or pushing for work. I highly recommend this shop and will continue to tell everyone about them."

"The last thing you want to hear is that you need to take your car into a transmission shop. When my truck lost all forward gears, I checked around and went with Dr. Nick's. Later the same day I got the dreaded phone call- broken piece, couldn't get the replacement. But- they were able to make a replacement at the shop and I drove home after paying $200- a really pleasant surprise. Face it- most of us have no idea what goes on inside that transmission, so how can we judge a fair price or whether we're getting ripped off? I think it's safe to say that 200$ and the truck has been fine- that's a fair price. My next transmission job (hopefully never!)- I won't have to shop around. I'd go back to these guys."
