"Great place to bring the kids and beat the heat."
"Crucial Athens experience, especially for families. Does not disappoint. If you can go early and/or on weekdays, a lot less overwhelming."
"I brought my one year old here to have a relaxing day. The Athens pool has a nice toddler area off to the side that's under 2ft. Unfortunately the pool rules allows toys in the pool area. This is just asking for issues because children under 3 don't know how to share. Some even much older still dont. My 1 year old had toys jerked out of his hands multiple times and then was smacked once. I know other children's behavior isn't directly the pools responsibility but I also shouldn't have to be on guard over my 1 year old being curious over a toy floating openly in the toddler area. Him being smacked sent him into a terrible tantrum, I had no choice but to leave. I'm exhausted as a parent and this ruined my entire day. I did talk to the women at the front who offered a free day pass but I'm not looking for anything free. I'm looking to have a relaxing day with my toddler. The pool isn't the park, there shouldn't be toys in there. Especially in the little kids area.. this is just asking for issues."
"We have a fun time here when we go. Kids love the slides. It’s nice to have several different pools for everyone to swim and a splash pad. Only thing I wish is that they had a little more food options at the concession."
"The kids could have NO FUN! All the lifeguards did was yell & blow their whistles every 5 seconds! I sat out & tanned & noticed they would yell at the kids for every little thing. Kids come there to have fun but they wouldn’t let them smh.."
