"I just bought $36 worth of gas using a credit card, they charged $100!!! I didn’t get a receipt as it was full service. I called them back to complain and they said I should get my money back within 24 to 48 hours that’s how their system works. I told them I was not told this and customers should know. If I don’t get my money back I’ll be raising hell there!! @Shell…I’m response to your reply, I have multiple credit cards and 3 bank accounts. This situation has never happened in my 30+ years of purchasing gas or anything else in the last 3 states I’ve lived in. Banks or credit cards don’t just put a hold on your money or extra money for purchases unless your company requires this sort of thing. With that said, I’m not shopping for gas at Shell. UPDATE: I got the rest of my money back after a 48 hour hold. This is not convenient when you use your debit or Step card. So watch out for this scheme in New York!"

"Full service station with very good priced gas! I stopped by here when I got a flat tire guy came outside quickly to help me. They sealed my rim to make sure that it didn’t leak and gave me a really reasonable price. I bought my car from them next door still have no trouble with it. Come here for my regular maintenance priced right!"
