"The parking attendant here midday is awful. Took a good 5 minutes to check in the car in front of me, and then proceeded to start schmoozing with the guy. When I asked him if he could please check me in, because I had an appointment, he caught an attitude and told me he was “very busy”. I used to park here all the time to go to MSK…never again."
"The staff at this garage is very rude. The pricing makes no sense at all and is different each time. My mother is a patient at memorial Sloan Kettering and they offer a discount to park. Last time here I was charged $22 for 3 hours of parking with the discount and today was charged $32 for 1.5 hours. I then got in my car to leave and the man rudely kept waving to rush me out of the garage before I could even turn the car on. I have parked in this garage a few times already and have never been treated so rudely by the staff. Very disgraceful!"
"My wife is a patient at MSK and we were told that they offer 40% off for patients. Drove up and was asked for reservation, which I didn’t have. The attendant parked my car and when I pocked it up they charged $45. I asked if that included the 40% off snd he said yes. Next appointment, I made a reservation with S&P parking for $25 for the same amount of time on the same day of the week. When I presented the printed payment, we which was for more time than I needed, the attendant said that it didn’t work when he scanned it. Then he said that it would be $15 more for an oversized vehicle. I showed him that I had already paid the surcharge. He argued with me for 1/2 hour and finally took a photo of my license snd my cellphone number. We called S&P customer service and was told that they would follow up with us. They never did. So the garage lies to Memorial Sloan Kettering about offering a discount for cancer patients, they do not honor reservations and the abuse their customers. Never park here, there a 5 garages within a block that will treat you better."
"Rip off. We were there for 5 hours and it was $65! If they are going to call our SUV not just “oversized” but “super oversized” (two different price brackets above the regular parking price) they should tell you that before you park. We looked up their rates online before we went, And there was no mention of any up charge or extra fees. If their flat rate is not a flat rate, they should be upfront about it. Additionally, the attendant was rude and unapologetic about the excessive increase. We could have parked right in time square for that price."
"They broke my windshield, refused to fill out the incident report until the cops came and wouldn't even give me their name. Told me that my car was broken when we pulled in, said that the incoming report showed it. When we asked to see it, he told us it was against company policy. Apparently, calling us liars, accusing us of shaking him down, and telling us that car manufacturers make windshields that break on purpose are in the company policy. While waiting for the cops, I watched him drive cars while on the phone, back a lady's car into the wall, and sit in her car idling with the engine running for 10 plus minutes. If the attendant had been polite, given me the insurance info right away, and been generally a human being, there would have been no issue. Don't park here if you value your car."
