"I had the oddest experience. It's a regular covered parking garage (no idea why people are saying it's an open-air garage) where you park yourself. There is an automated kiosk where you push a button and get a ticket, then park, on your way out, you scan your ticket and pop in your credit card. A lady ran out of the office and said "you have to remember you spot number and tell me before you leave". I didn't think much of it until on my way out, I gave her the spot number and she said I had to give her my key. For what? It wasn't valet. It felt like she was going to either steal my car or steal stuff from my car. Super strange. Beware."
"Do not leave your car here. After only leaving my vehicle for 8 hours they took my car for a joy ride leaving me to come back with a flat. I will be pressing charges because my milage increased. Do not go here."
"I parked my SUV at this place and the woman attendant asked for my key and the number of the space my car was in. Upon my return she pointed to the key box and told me to get my own key. I later found that must have been joy riding in my car or they changed their mind about stealing it because the gps stickers on the door. My radio had been changed to spanish stations and hip hop. All the seat programs were changed as well. I didnt realize it until much later in the day. I dont listen to FM radio, so I did not realize what stations were changed until I was in another State. I dont live in NYS yet they were dumb enough to reprogram the stations. They had every intention of keeping the car. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR HERE! They wanted the steal my car, or at least the tires but they could find the wheel lock key. My SUV is a foreign High end vehicle ."
"No one there speaks english, which makes it hard to get any kind of service for individuals who aren't fluent in Spanish. They need to have a manager number accessible to get business done."
"BEWARE PARKWIZ USERS OR USERS OF OTHER PAY AHEAD PARKING PASS SITES/APPS: I've used the ParkWhiz app in past with no issues. Today, I followed the directions for this garage when I arrived, which was to show the attendant the app when I arrive, which I did. When we went to leave, there were two new attendants who wanted us to pay an additional $20 to them. We were leaving well within the paid time and had paid for our time already on ParkWhiz. There was a huge language barrier and we couldn't figure out why they were changing us. They were basically not acknowledging our ParkWhiz app purchase even though we showed it to them also. We had to pay, in cash, to get my key back and exit the garage. Additionally, on the way out, the closed the bar on my car. I think I only avoided damage to my hood because I have smaller than average car (Fiat). We didn't think to get a receipt for some reason (probably because we were pretty frazzled and annoyed) for the cash payment, and none was offered. ParkWhiz refunded what we paid to them but could not refund the additional $20 since we didn't have that receipt (which I of course understand). In short, don't use this garage if you're paying ahead via app unless you want to be taken for a ride and end up potentially paying exponentially more for what you thought would be reasonable parking, or if you have a car bigger than a Fiat, because they also can't work the gate correctly."
