Reviews
"I’ve taken 4 classes now with Scott! Intro to jewelry casting, the soldering intensive, and advanced casting twice. I plan on taking gem setting in the future. Scott is a wonderful teacher and we always have a great time. We’ve been able to work on some really fun projects together outside of class and I try to make it to open studio as much as I can. It’s great that the class sizes are relatively small and all of your needs or questions can be addressed specific to what you are working on. The introduction to casting is a great class to take for beginners who are curious to learn as you’re able to leave the class with fully finished pieces. Also playing with fire is super fun and only scary at first :)Would highly recommend Scott as a teacher and maker."
"Scott and the entire Bushwick Jewelry Casting community create such a safe space to learn. I’ve taken several classes with Scott and am constantly amazed by the level of thought and consideration he puts into his teaching as well as his students. I have come to him with many ambitious projects and he is always great about trying to understand my vision while also level setting skill. I would highly recommend anyone interested in jewelry or just learning a new skill sign up as you won’t be disappointed and will meet great people!"
