"Best amusement park in the Midwest! Puts Shakopee on the map of Minnesota. The rides are fun for all ages. Park is clean, lots of employees and bathrooms are clean with lots of locations. Food is mediocre and expensive. Having local food vendors will be an amazing enhancement to the park. The food prices will be cheaper and more delicious food."
"Fun, fun, fun place to take your family or your out of state family to enjoy rides! There are a lot of fun big rides, kiddie rides, and the water park rides! It has been a while since I went to valleyfair and they had added a few new rides and got rid of 1 or 2 rides. The waiting line for the rides went by pretty quick! We also rented out the 3 cabanas right next to the wave pool for a birthday party and it was totally worth it! I love how we got the cabanas and we didn't have to worry too much about carrying or strolling our things around the amusement park since we left most of our things in the cabanas. The cabanas came with free water bottles and towels (we were able to keep the towels they provided us). I wish I took pictures of the cabanas. They also have arcade games to win big or small plushies. Also plenty of parking. If you want to save money when it comes to buying food. You can pack some food and go back to your car to eat then go back into the amusement park after you're done. The food is kinda expensive. We got a bucket of cheese curds ($24.99) and the bucket was really small and it wasn't full. I was pretty disappointed about that (as it was shown in the photo). But other than that, my family and I still had a good time there."
"Fun mix of young child, family, and thrill rides. Recommend going during the week for shorter lines. They have a few win every time games, so 5$ souvenir for young kids is fun. Season pass pays for itself quickly with parking included. Under 5 season pass is free with purchase of adult pass. Food is bad and expensive. They do have good treats like ICEE and dippin dots. The food is terrible tasting and price- worth it to pack a car picnic."
"I am visiting as many of the Cedar Fair parks as possible and really enjoyed this one. The park is compact and has a nice variety of rides and the water park. Food is expensive in all the parks. The weather was very nice and the wait time for rides was very short. I would definitely return when back in this area. Was able to take public transportation to the park from downtown Minneapolis which was a plus but it did take about 70 minutes that way, but it only cost $2.50 each way."
"Spent the day at Valley Fair, and we had a blast. We used their app, which was very useful, knowing the line wait times. I purchased the all-day food and drink pass, which is worth the money! The only issue I had was stopping at the funnel cake stand, which was on the list, and they said it wasn't. Otherwise, it definitely saves money."
