"As a runner of 38 years I sustained a inguinal hernia this past winter. From the very first discussion with Dr. Michelle Mouria I knew she was the right doctor for me. In fact, she indicated that I was developing an inguinal hernia on the other side and suggested bilateral surgery. She explained in understandable details the pros and cons of such a surgery and indicated that because of my general health (at 57) and athletic build that I would be running again within a month of surgery. I appreciated her candor and confidence in her skills and my resilience and followed through with the recommended surgery. Sure enough, the surgery was a success with minimal pain; in fact, I had no pain at 3 incision sites. I had a few minor concerns in the first 10 days afterward, but Dr. Mouria returned calls immediately and assured me everything was okay. She even invited me to a post-op check before I was scheduled. Again, she reassured me that things were progressing as anticipated. It has been almost 2 months since my surgery and I have been running without pain or issue now for over a month. I have been cleared to do light weight workouts and should be better than ever (she indicated that one of the hernias was probably there for some time) in a couple of months. I have nothing but praise and respect for Dr. Mouria and highly recommend her for any hernia surgery. I couldn't be happier with results. Tony Del Prete"
