"Always clean and not crowded. I used the therapy pool and drop in anytime except Sundays."
"The center is nice and the confines are good. However, there needs to be better understanding of the events and the vendor/ushers working the events. There are ticket event and non ticket events. With the non ticket events or swim meets there should be grace given to the no food and drink guideline because parents volunteer and need to get food for their kids that maybe outside the event. Or provide a food truck to come onto the grounds for swim meets. For an usher to be sticker to the guideline of a ticketed event for a non ticketed event is unsympathetic to parents and the event organizers that pay for the facilities. I hope the facilities are better organized with the ushers of what they can and cannot allow for the kids and parents of the kids at these events."
"I was very disappointed with the lack of communication and safety for family children recreational swimming especially when we are more than willing to follow policy. Staff never asked me questions they only assumed I and 8yr old niece was there for lessons. After approaching the child without speaking to me,the adult, I proceeded to staff to explain why we were there. After staff understood then only did she tell us swim area policy. We began to swim in 3ft area when another staff came to us and said we could not be in 3ft area we were previously told we could be in ,but had to go beyond ropes to 4ft. I began to explain to staff that I didn't feel comfortable with my niece in 4ft because water is right at her neck. I then asked for a lifejacket for niece in which staff never gave me but told me I needed to listen and that staff was qualified in case she starts to drown. I then asked if she could have afloaty at least in the water to hold on to and staff began lecturing me. He began to saw that I was talking noise. Now mind you, I wasnt rude or loud I was pleasant speaking and said to staff, I'm not talking noise, I'm only saying I don't feel comfortable with her in 4ft area. I also said my words are important in my inquiries of her safety. He again stated lifeguards were available and walked away. During 20 min of swimming I stayed in water with her because it was too high for her. After 20 min in a third staff came to us and said we were not supposed to be in that area and but she would let us stay this time. I explained that I didn't want to stay in 4ft and preferred to be in 3ft area as requested. I proceed to tell staff that another staff told us we was supposed to be here and was very rude to me but staf ignored and did not acknowledge me nor give me an apology that we were not communicated appropriately and given adequate safety instructions. I'm appalled and feel this matter needs to be addressed. I did call the Aquatic center Director and got voice message which I did leave a message and no one returned my call. ng and not just"
"RARELY open for family swim. Even though it is scheduled to be open from 1-3 M-F. The pool is almost continuously not available due to birthday parties, and other group swim. Best bet is to go elsewhere."
"A very nice aquatic center. We have been over here a couple of times for Swim Meets. Every seat has a great view. The athletes and coaches are separated from the spectors. A very nice facility overall with some snacks and beverages available for purchase along with plenty of parking as long as the Greensboro coliseum doesn't have an event that day."
