"There are people of all ages at this pool and everyone seems to love it here. The staff and members are welcoming and friendly, just like the pool name! The swim lessons for the kids are really good and I still can't believe they're free! The swim team does really well at competitions and has brought home a lot of trophies. I especially love that the swim team kids are all friends and cheer each other on. This is the only pool in town that has a lot of natural shade which was the deciding factor for us. When we visit other pools for swim meets we are always reminded just how lucky we are to have so much shade at our pool! In addition to tennis and pickleball, kids especially enjoy taking breaks from the pool to play basketball or wall ball, and in the soccer field. If we are spending the day, I never have to worry about preparing food to take with us because the snack bar is super affordable. One of the highlights at the end of every season is the synchronized swim team performance. The end of the summer is just around the corner and we are sad, but know we will see familiar faces at an off-season social events. Joining this pool was one of the best decisions our family ever made!"

"My family switched to Friendly Park after being members at another pool a few years ago. My husband still says it was one of the best decisions I convinced him to help make. Couldn’t be happier. My kIds love the swim team and have learned so much from the coaches and the tennis clinics. They’re also now involved with the water polo program and synchronized swimming. Two activities that never would have been available to them had we not joined. So many good things to say about Friendly Park!!"

"There aren’t enough words to describe how great this place is, regardless of what you are looking for. To start, it doesn’t take long to see that Friendly is a community that is loved by its members. Half of the people you see will tell you they have been members for life, and the newcomers will tell you how quickly they were welcomed into the community. It is one of, if not the only pool in town with so much natural shade. It keeps it much cooler on those hot days, and since the pool deck is surrounded by trees, there is always half of the deck in the sun and half in the shade so you can have your pick. There is a beautiful children’s pool area if you have little ones, as well as plenty of other kids to play with. The swim team is the best, and not just because they win championships- the coaches do a great job helping each of the kids with their technique, they teach and practice good sportsmanship, and it’s a great way for the kids to be competitive and have fun with their friends. It’s a short season, but any of the kids will tell you how much they love it and how much of an impact it has on them. If competitive swimming isn’t for you, there is plenty more to take advantage of. There are swim lessons for all levels taught by the lifeguards. Friendly is also the only summer pool to have a synchronized swimming program. The tennis team is also a fun thing for kids to do in the summer! If you like soccer, basketball, and volleyball, there are nets for those too. and clean bathrooms!!!! As great as the facilities are, the people are what makes Friendly such an amazing place. I grew up there every summer and I wouldn’t change it for a thing. As long as I continue to live in the area, I will bring my kids here and they will be second generation lifetime frogs. And a special shoutout to the incredible manager Erin, who has cultivated that place into what it is today. It wouldn’t be what it is without her. Ribbit Ribbit!!!"
