"I had a terrible experience here. I’ve been to this location to get a haircut many times but I’ve never gotten it washed or blowdried before. Today I went in for a wash, haircut, and blow dry. During my wash, I was reading the signs in the back. The woman washing my hair asked if I wanted a hair mask since I was reading the sign, I said no thank you and she told me my hair was dry. During her washing my hair, she told me it was dry 3 different times and kept asking. I politely told her no and said I would be cutting off most of my ends. The haircut was not what I wanted either. I asked for curtain bangs and I wasn’t given that, he didn’t even touch the front of my head which I was really disappointed by. I also said I want a lot of shorter layers. As you can see in the photo, my hair looks like it’s almost all one length. The blow dry was very average, there’s no movement or shape to the hair even though it’s cut in layers which should be easy. In addition to this, no heat protectant, oil or spray was applied to my hair. The price listed for a wash, haircut, and blow dry is 27 dollars, this is on the front of the store in large letters. When it came time to pay, I was told it would be $35. I was taken aback as that was not the original base amount I expected to pay. I always tip so my issue was more about feeling taken advantage of. When I asked what the price difference was about, I was told it was because my hair is long and this price is for “old ladies with shorter hair” I find this very strange as specific lengths are not noted as an extra charge. I have no problem paying but I felt lied to. My hair is also not very long at all and only 2-3 inches max was taken off. I will not be coming back to the blowout spot 2 or any of its other locations. EDIT: the owner has since changed their response, previously they apologized and said they would fix the issue if i came back for free, i did not come back because i dont care if its free, i dont trust these people with my hair. Also, they lied about this money situation. I wasn't told the price until the end, to which i expressed my confusion. I also had the money to pay so i find it strange that they are claiming i only had 25 dollars. They obviously wouldnt have let me leave if i didnt pay the amount AND would’ve mentioned that in their original response. My issue was the dishonesty which continues in this owner response. I also NEVER said I was satisfied with my service, I didn’t receive what I asked for so how could I have said I was “very satisfied.” I’ll try to attach an image of the original owner response. Edit 2: the owner has removed their second response which was quite rude especially to a paying customer. Luckily, i do have a screenshot of where they edited their response and tried to say i didnt have the money to pay and that that was the whole issue. Both responses are pictured, the first one is where they apologized and offered to fix it. The second is after I didnt go back to get it fixed and they then decided to lie about me. Extremely dishonest people, very shameful. Additionally, they are saying that I have the wrong location because the price has always been 35 dollars. There are photos up of their menu that show that a wash blow dry and hair cut is priced at 27. They could have changed this as of now but that was not the case when I went. My haircuts are always exactly what I want and no matter how crazy, they do exactly what I asked for in color. They always do whatever it takes to meet my expectations and still leave my hair in great condition after. They've done purple, red, blue and pink with perfection.
