"Despite the bad reviews I wanted to give it a chance. I knocked at the door and the lady pointed at a sign. It said “by appointment only.” The place was completely empty. Literally no one but her in there, as usual. I called three times to make an appointment and the call never went through. I went to Fancy Nails and got my eyebrows and upper lip waxed with any problem for only $16. I always felt bad for this establishment that is always empty but now I understand why."

"Before coming here, I checked everyone's reviews for some insight. I was pressed for time to get my eyebrows done since I had a photoshoot 2 days later and hadn't done my eyebrows in 6 months. I am very picky with who touches my face because my hair takes a long time to grow back. When I first past by the location it looked closed. There is a strict reservations policy and there are signs all over the door. After much knocking and calling the owner came out and helped me. Shruti is AMAZING. I understand why people get annoyed that they can't just walk in on their own time to get their eyebrows done, but nothing is the same now because of COVID. If Shruti feels safer doing appointments only then book the appointment or go somewhere more flexible. Shruti left me looking and feeling great. My eyebrows were a little red for about 2 hours because of my sensitive skin and for me that was the best part because when I have gone other places I am red for 6+ hours and get those weird bumps around the threading area. I will definitely be going back. I am telling you, she is worth the appointment & price!"

I've been coming here since 2017 and since the first time I met her you just feel overall good vibes from her place and from her. "Shruti always does great work. I’ve been going to her for 5 years, even though I no longer live close by. She takes her safety precautions seriously and makes booking appointments so easy, something which I appreciate. She responds to texts fairly quickly."

"I have been going here for years and I have to say, I would never let anyone else touch my eyebrows. I get compliments on them all the time. Chikoo's has always and continues to be an amazing experience. Due to COVID/ safety precautions, it is required that you make an appointment before coming in. This is required of any quality spa and I appreciate that the owner makes it really easy to make appointments- you just text her and she'll always get back to you. Love this place 10/10 recommend!"
