"Had a great experience at Dr. Scalp. When you arrive they give you slippers to wear (recommend bringing your own socks if you are in sandals) and the space is very clean and comfortable. The people who work there are so nice and make the experience very relaxing. They start the process by taking photos of your scalp close up with a microscope camera lens. Then a series of different solutions they apply to the scalp. Then a long steam and a lot of shampoo and scrubbing. This was the best part. Then drying and more solutions. The whole process takes about an hour and 30 minutes-ish so plan accordingly. I’ve struggled with large flake dandruff and build up on my scalp for years and I never thought getting rid of the flakes was possible. Even went to an Aveda salon in Manhattan to do a similar process. The Dr. Scalp process was way more thorough and longer. There was a closer attention to detail too. First time clients are $178 and then after that it’s $128. Plus tip (I brought cash for this). Really not bad for what they do plus they blow dry your hair afterwards. "I came for a scalp deep clean, it was pretty easy to get an appointment at the time I wanted. Arrived a bit early they still could accommodate to see us early, The first time it started with consultation they asked detailed questions about diet, stress, sleep and problems of the scalp health and then they take pictures of the scalp to show any issue needs to be treated to recommend a treatment that works for your needs. The whole thing took about 90mins including consultation and scanning. The cleaning includes some strum application, shampoo, massage, steaming and varieties of Korean products to help your needs. They also tell us how to generally maintain a healthy scalp. Very professional The girls are the clinics are very friendly"

"The scalp wash was pretty good they explained the whole process & what I should do. However, after the cleaning I find it annoying that they have to keep pressuring me to buy more also they expect 15% tip. Spent around $330 for a 2 hour hair wash."

"I have hair loss problems and my sister recommended me to this place. I would have to say the service is really nice, I always have the same person perform the treatment on me. I love that I can always engage in a good conversation with her. The hair loss treatment really helps me to have less hair falling, and I can really see it working. It’s really nice to be able to wash my hair at home and not worry about so much hair falling out. The treatment makes my scalp feel super refreshed, and I do see baby hair growing."
