"I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time and I begged off on it simply because I wanted to see how well this install will hold up after my normal wash routine. Ladies you know what I’m talking about, there are times when you may be in the middle of detangling, hit an innocuous snag and then next thing you know a whole track has come undone and you’re just pissed. Well I’m definitely past that first wash mark, and the second, and the third. YES!!! My hair still looks just as phenomenal as it did when Barbara finished styling me almost SIX WEEKS AGO! This wouldn’t be an honest review if I didn’t mention that Barbara and I got off to a ROUGH start. A lot of the things I was looking for and valued in a stylist (ie open communication, ease of booking, effective time management, skillz, etc) were presented in an almost too good to be true manner. The day of my appointment a lot of things went wrong, to put it mildly, but we soldiered on and I’m so happy that I gave her the chance. At every opportunity that I voiced a concern, she took the time to address what I was saying and assuage my fears. Barbara took the time to really look at my natural hair and make comments and suggestions. She asked about my hair care routine and the products I used, then proceeded to walk me through all the things she was doing to my hair and explained the benefits of those products most active ingredients. By the end of the appointment, I was beyond impressed with her knowledge and skill set, that all the little things that previously would’ve caused me to pay and never look back seemed so minor. Needless to say I’m not walking, but sprinting to my maintenance appointment to readjust and freshen up my closure. Is Barbara worth the time, energy, and $$$; if you want your hair done well, the answer is a resounding YES. I’m excited to be a current and future client of Barbara’s and I wish her and this new salon all the very best."

"Waxing with Sheri you get the quality you would expect from a name brand chain, the many years of experience, with a fair price! I’ve been waxing with Sheri for 2 years now and she’s the only one I trust to wax me. Her hands are very delicate and she makes the entire experience painless! She has a lot of experience and it shows! The prices are very fair and much lower than what you find out there in chain corporations. She worked for many years in one of the waxing chain corporations and got tired of them rushing you to finish a client as quickly as possible, since it impacts the quality of the work. And she’s very kind!!"
