"If I could give zero stars then I would… Words cannot describe how upset, sad, and distraught I was when I left this establishment. First of all, the people who work here are not professionals. I called the day before my appointment to see if there was any availability for a walk in. The man who answered the phone, Francis, said they could take me the next day at 8 o’clock in the morning. I asked how much it would cost, and he said that it depends on the beautician but they charge reasonably. I get there at 8 o’clock the next day and Francis is not even there. Francis arrives about 15-20 minutes late, and then tells me that the beautician will be arriving shortly. I waited from 8am until about 10am just to get seated, and there were people who came in after me and left before me. One lady even left for an hour came back two hours later and left before me. The worst part is that I had a deadline, explained my story about how I had graduation and everything to Francis and he pretended to act like he understood but still tried to get me to stay in the seat by saying every 5 minutes that the lady was coming. Guess what, the lady was not coming and he called his wife instead to come and do my hair. He claimed that the lady would still be coming and she and his wife can both work on my hair to get me to where I needed to be but only the wife was doing my hair. She didn’t even do my hair the way that I wanted it and it was frizzy when I left the place. And they charged me $200. I was supposed to be at graduation by 1pm today, May 13th. And I explicitly told Francis that my school is an hour away, but they didn’t have me out of the chair until 12:47pm… I had to do my make up and put on my outfit and did not have enough time so I had to miss my graduation ceremony. I feel terrible and now I have to live with the regret of going to this place and not making it to graduation. The picture of what I got and what I wanted are attached :("

"Was looking for a quick spot to have my daughter‘s hair straightened. Came in 2 hours before they closed in hopes there was no line. When I went in I saw a few women sitting down waiting for their turn. Figured the one hair stylist, Jenny, was going to tell me that she couldn’t do it tonight. What a surprise when she meeeee she could wash, do a treatment, put her in rollers and blow her out. Two more people were ahead of us and she was finishing someone in the chair. Unfortunately, she was the only one there but she worked great alone. She did great on the two before us so we had faith she would do good on my daughter as well. Thankfully, we weren’t wrong. Great job, Jenny!"

She always gives me great advice on my hair and always does a more than amazing job with my hair whether it’s a trim, keratin treatment, coloring and much more. Her blow outs are amazing!! "I was looking for a Dominican Hair Salon near my area. I’m so glad I found Pretty Hair Salon. Jenny was the sweetest and very good at what she does. I have very course hair and she took her time making sure to detangle and not damage my hair. She was very considerate and asked at what temperature I preferred getting my hair washed and if I preferred getting my head massaged softly or a bit more firmly. She did a phenomenal job and even offered me coffee! That was a very nice treat. I’m so happy I found my new hair spot!"
