"Vain makes me feel like I'm in a salon in Soho without all the NYC congestion. The girls are all amazing. They are all so sweet, welcoming, stylish and professional. My favorite part about this salon is that they are a team of empowering women. The receptionist is SO sweet and welcoming. Abby gives the BEST washes and does great single process application/color and beautiful blow drys. Amanda and Wave are amazing colorists and stylists. The girls are a real dream team. Amanda is also an amazing makeup artist. Leaves you looking truly flawless. They are all true visionaries. I usually go to Amanda for my hair but if she's not available, I completely trust Wave or Abby to do color/style plus they have my formula on hand so they know my color history. I've done color, cut, and styling with all of them. They are one of the very few where I can say "do whatever you want" and 100% trust blindly. Love these girls. I moved to Miami and still go back to Jersey to get my hair done (for now) because after 2 1/2 years of going to Vain my hair is perfectly healthy and I have beautiful color that I don't want someone else messing up."

"I feel like I was robbed - I spent five + hours of my day at the salon for a total of four pieces to be highlighted when I asked for a balayage. Two pieces were dyed in the front of my face and the color looked so unnatural and funky. It was a huge waste of my time and money. It was a huge disappointment and I would never recommend or come back to this place. The dye has ruined the texture of my hair and it looks horrendous. Extremely dissatisfied and truly feel like I was robbed from the price I was charged."
