"Dr. Panev, Gema and the dental assistant (didn't get his name) are INCREDIBLY professional and gentle with my 9 year old. I'm very embarrassed to say my son had 6 cavities during COVID and Dr. Panev made it a calm and stress free experience. My kiddo has had 1 of 3 appointments for fillings and isn't the slightest bit nervous about the remaining 2 visits. Don't let the modest appearance of the office sway your confidence. The care is top notch."

Had some work done on gums and regular cleaning, no pain, gave me some info I was never given before in all my years of dental work for extra care for my mouth, now my cleaning is quick and very very littel bleeding. "I had three fillings done with Dr. Anguel Panev at Grand Smile Dental. All three failed within 2-8 weeks! He does not guarantee his work and charges for revisions on his own faulty work. He also tried to use the amalgam fillings which contain mercury on me, which I refused. Read about safe filling materials and DO NOT use services from this business. I am now pursuing arbitration through the NY State Office of Professional Discipline as I would recommend anyone else should who is suffering or has suffered from the sub-standard service being provided by this dentist."

"I have a 7 year old child with special needs. I had mentioned this to the dentist. You need lots of patience when dealing with my son. He is very afraid of the dentist. He does not like the tools. They scare him. He also can't stay still and has a hard time following directions due to his ADHD. The dentist was patient at first with my son so the first visit was ok. so i decided to go back. The second visit was ok as well and the third visit too. Today was a different story. He lost his patience with my son. He snatched a water bottle out from sons hand because he was going to drink after he had his teeth cleaned. I was shocked and could not believe he did that. That was very rude and unprofessional. He said to my son i told you no water after 1 hour. I would never in my life bring my child there ever again. He almost made my son cry. My son felt so bad. He told my son why don't you listen to your mother? I was disgusted by this. I know my son is stubborn but as a professional you claim to be, you should never talk to a child like that. especially your patient who has special needs. Do not bring your children here."
