"Great shopping experience. You can find food items from countries such as Italy and Germany. The lidl brand products that I have tried have been very good so far with quality ingredients. The prices are less than what most other grocery stores are charging. The store is clean and well organized, check out is fast, efficient, with friendly staff."

"Hands down the worst supermarket I’ve ever been to. It is unfortunately my closest store but I try my hardest to avoid it. Every time I go I think to myself that have to have this simple and common item I’m looking for right? And every time they don’t. Their selection is so limited. No deli cheese no deli meats most days hardly anything there that one needs. Oh but if you need a new trampoline or golf set they have you covered. Also to top it all off they opt to use one register only without a self checkout. Be prepared to wait. Just go to stop and shop or meat farms."

"Bakery items were not good. I had a little difficulty browsing because workers kept rudely cutting in front of me to stock. When they noticed me, they still refused to move. I asked for help and the woman's tone was unacceptable. I The cashier, at an OPEN register asked me to move & find another line because she couldn't figure out how to take ONE more additional customer when both other lines were very long. Not much of a selection/variety of products. There was a gentleman shopping with his wife who kept gawking at me. I'm not from around here. Where I'm from, people never stare at you like they do on Long Island. It's Creepy."

"If you're in a rush i don't suggest going to Lidl, 10 registers with only 1 open and a long line. Lidl should have self check out registers like most retailers these days. The prices are higher that Aldi and cashiers often have attitudes. I've even called their corporate office and asked them to close and let Aldi open a store there lol, what a FRUSTRATING shopping experience."

"I used to live 5 minutes from Lidl in East Patchogue. My wife and I shopped there all the time... then we moved so we're about 20 minutes away. I still go there to get two things...my escargot and the best frozen apple strudel anywhere. The snails are imported from France and are absolutely delicious and the price is also very reasonable. These escargot are a better quality and better tasting than the ones I've eaten at fancy French and German restaurants. The strudel is also inexpensive and it tastes as if it came out fresh out of the oven in a German deli or bakery... absolutely scrumptious. Lidl is a good store for specialty shopping... and especially for my escargot and apple strudel...true hidden treasures."
