"Their Pullman white bread is undefeated. They make the best Asian style sandwich bread in NYC. I usually get their extra large loaf and freeze to use as needed. So good! Also a great place to get a ham and egg bun and Swiss roll cakes."

"I used to come here a lot as a little kid and have fond memories of this place. Came back here and it’s changed a little from what I remember. First, the prices are still amazing. I got a big sponge cake for $2.25. The sponge cake tasted good, but it wasn’t anything special. It was very fluffy and not too sweet. It was a little dry and had this strange banana, egg yolk taste to it. Considering I came very close to closing, they had a good variety of baked goods, mostly sponge cake rolls and buns. The service was a little curt, and I felt kind of nervous paying for my order. Even from a no frills place it’s nice to have a polite staff."
