"I really like the service here, the people and most especially the amazing iced coffee they serve! However, most of the other food is mediocre at best. But it works. I’m quite surprised no one has really written about some of the baked items, except that we’re probably all relieved to have some semblance of a bakery within walking distance. However, at times the food served is slightly stale, having been refrigerated for too many days. I was served a dry, stale piece of flan that was refrigerated for too long on a tray, instead of in its caramelized sugar liquid in a container, like it’s supposed to be. The cakes are over-dyed, dry and usually too sweet, or lacking in flavor completely. I’m not sure if anything is actually fresh-baked on site. But for a walking-distance Argentine bakery that speaks our “language,” I feel we tend to make lots of allowances in this neighborhood."

"The lady at the counter was so very sweet. Came out from behind the counter to explain all the cakes in the showcase, and all the flavors currently available. Other flavors are available by special order. Was very patient and friendly, great to work with. The dulce leche “caramel” roll was delicious and generously filled!! I wish I bought more! Would recommend and will definitely be back! Customer interaction is so important in small businesses. And this one was top-notch! If you have the choice of this bakery or another in the area that starts with an L, definitely choose this one!!"

"Food - food is fresh, good and tasty Service - the young man who is usually there is very sweet and respectful. Atmosphere - Its a small place I use to to live in fresh Meadows and this used to be my go to place for breakfast. I love their ham and cheese croissants, and their empanadas with the chimichurri sauce and their Colombian platter. now that I live in Bayside, I still take the trip to go over there cause its so good and fresh."

"Amazing local Uruguayan gem. Went in the early morning around 7AM and saw the staff crush the morning rush of orders. Heavy regular customer base with a focus on quality service over quantity. I had an egg and cheese on one of their in house made pan. And boi oh boi, was that bread fluffy. Glad I went with that over the roll since a roll doesn't have the same thickness as the minnion pan. They also steam all the milk for the hot coffees, so I appreciate the gesture to care about the drinks. Amazing team."

"My mom put me on to this place. It's in the neighborhood. Today I brought bae for a breakfast sandwhich even though it was already afternoon. Hey, breakfast is ok anytime of the day. I like this neighborhood spot. Definately a good place for a bacon egg and cheese, salt pepper and ketchup on a roll. Bae got an egg and cheese butter and mayo. As she likes it I like when bae orders what she wants. They got everything here. Get some pastries too. To go too. Liek theybsat "Anything else?" "Algo mass?"They have a big selection of Latin origin food and treats. Head over there for some empanadas. Lotz of variety all fresh"
