"Not the greatest SoBol that I’ve been to, there are other places in Astoria that have the same quality where the service far supersedes this location. When I’m spending this much money on an açaí bowl I would expect my order to come out how I asked for it, nobody likes paying extra for toppings and having to go back because they forgot to put on the extra things you are paying for. I usually get the coconut bowl and ask for no strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, or honey. Instead I prefer to get bananas and Nutella on mine. The servers are not very attentive to taking peoples orders, one time they left the pineapples on and the next they charged me for Nutella and forgot to put it on. I went back to ask for the Nutella and they put a sarcastic amount on. I hate to be this picky but I believe that if you’re paying this much for a bowl it should come out the way you want, but hey, everyone makes mistakes. You’re better off going to another SoBol location or trying another spot on Ditmars if you’re in Astoria."

"This review is strictly for the smoothies. The bowls seem to be good but it's just not my thing. I do, however, love a good smoothie. I stopped by the other night and picked one up. To my surprise, there was only one size and it was nearly $8. It's not very big either. Definitely expensive. The smoothie itself was very good and full of fruit flavors as advertised. I just can't bring myself to pay that much on such a small portion (in my opinion). I think $5 would be more reasonable. I was really hoping for a neighborhood spot to get quality smoothies but I guess I'll continue making them at home. If you want a good smoothie and have money to burn, go for it. It quality is there, the portion just isn't worth the price."
