"HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - I'd rate it ZERO but I cant select 0 stars. DID NOT GET THE CAR I PAID FOR - Rented a Standard SUV but was given a Small SUV (Ford Escape) CARS ARE NOT INSPECTED - my car had a service light for "oil change". When I informed them, they said it had an oil change but no one reset the service light. I am not sure if it was really done. I got pulled over and received a ticket for a headlamp that wasnt working. When I contacted Roadside assistance, I was told to fix it and send them the bill. Wasted time fixing a headlight for a rental car. UNKNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF - My car had a sticker that said its registration is expired. When I asked the staff, they said they can see its valid but wouldnt give me proof of registration. I was not comfortable driving a car which did not have any proof of registration so they asked me to go to another Hertz location as they were out of cars. I went to the JFK airport location and the staff informed me that the registration is permanent so does not need any proof. Its a Florida PM registration. How am I supposed to know? But I wasted 4 hours trying to understand this. If the staff was knowledgeable, i would have saved 4 hours of my trip. Overall, I spent more than 10 hours trying to understand an out of state registration and fixing a faulty headlight. Never ever renting with Hertz again.."

"I would have given this pickup location zero stars but unfortunately google doesn’t allow that. Everything was off about our experience with this site. We were provided a small SVU for the price of a normal SVU. Then when we left with the car the “oil change needed “ message came on. The staff had to confirm that the oil change had been done but the car wasnt updated. Then we found out that the registration papers in the car had expired. We had to go to the JFk location and wait another 1.5 hrs to fix that. And we were delayed by 4 hours for our trip. Once we commenced everything was ok till we were driving at night and found out that one headlight was out. Overall our experience was very negative especially considering we were traveling with a baby. I would caution against renting from this location again. And the staff has to be the most unprofessional I have ever seen."

"Worst customer service experience ever! Gave me a prius that was not in an acceptable condition and refused to be given an exchange at all by the man manning the counter. Asked me to call cust serv online if not satisfied. I know its a satellite branch. But just to show how poor Hertz is handling its customer experience."

"I came to drop off in this location at 8am. It’s almost 9am and no one is here. No respect for their customers as many are waiting here. The car I rented needed wipers changed as we are in a raining season. It was raining the morning I was trying to drop off the car. I was lucky I made it to the rental agency safe. In general, a very bad experience in this location and I wouldn’t recommend to rent a car in this office."
