"The renter before me was late, therefore, I had to walk another 10 mins to a new location for another car. The car wasn’t at the new location either. Had to call in and ask them to honk the car because it wasn’t at the listed spot. I finally picked up the car 30 mins after my reservation time. I was late to a restaurant reservation and was fined $100 and lost our table. Requested that Zipcar refund me for making me miss my reservation but they refused. They don’t care that I was affected by their poor planning. They probably charged the person before me $50 for being late but refused to help me when I’m currently out $167. Never again."

"They cancelled at the last minute, a reservation I made days in advance. I booked another car at this location and the car wasn't there. Spent 4 times more on an uber to make my covid vaccine appt. Zipcar keeps you on hold for 20 minutes, which eats into your reservation time, only to tell you the most they can do is cancel your reservation (which they already charged to your credit card) days before. Terrible customer service and they breach their car rental agreements to you."

"1. Hourly rate is $15, 3 hours cost 86 before other charges? 2. Customer service never replied. 3. App didn’t work when unlocking, delaying our trip, yet we still returned around the scheduled time, but cost $50 late fee?"
