"This was my first time coming to this Pep Boys and it was a disappointment all around. I used to live in PA and my Pep Boys I would go to was very nice and my oil change would be done in under an hour. The front desk girl who checked me in said my oil change would take about an hour and a half because it was a busier day. It ended up taking 4 hours. Had they told me from the get-go it would have been that long, I wouldn't have been so upset. I wasted half a work day sitting in their bare bones building. They also text you when you check in and the text leads you to a page where you can monitor the status of your service. I checked the page regularly and the page was never updated as to what step I was on even though I could see my car sitting in the garage. From what I witnessed, the workers kept coming inside the building where we were waiting and were talking to one another rather than working. Another man I was sitting with was getting a wheel alignment and they told him it would take two hours. He was there for over 4 and was still waiting when I left (his car had yet to be brought back to the garage)."

"I had come in for a scheduled (ONLINE) appointment but the system may have had a glitch because when I arrived the place was packed. All bays in use, parking lot full showing there’s no way I’m getting this done. A young gentleman named Spencer offered to book me an appointment himself and assured me that if I was willing to return the following day that he would personally make sure that I waited the least time possible. I DID! I took a walk down to Marshall’s, purchased a pair of gloves returned to the store and my truck was DONE! Spencer and the entire Pep Boys team were OUTSTANDING!!!"

"I had a flat on the highway and got towed to Pep Boys. They had a long list of people ahead but got me in and out much quicker than quoted. Staff was super friendly and the shop was solid. I'll be back for any future car troubles."

And Phil kept me calm and assured that the work would be done right. So far so good! Very satisfied with the experience.
