"NEVER RENT FROM EDGE AUTO RENTALS!!! I have worked in production for over 12 years and been renting trucks and vehicles around the world. I gave EDGE a try again since their 16' box truck fit the bill for my most recent job... I know they are very particular about their vehicles and instructed my team to take extra care having been charged in the past for things like graffiti and drivers smoking in the cabs. Returned the vehicle with more fuel than when I picked it up and figured we were good to go. However just got an email about reported damage. Opened up the pictures to find an image of a scuff to the lift gate!!! Now they want me to fill out an accident report for a scuff on the lift gate???! And they are going to send it to the body shop for repair? I used to work in a shop and we would NEVER do anything to something like this. It's a COMPLETE SCAM. Literally being shaken down for something they will never fix or can fix without replacing the whole lift gate - which I bet they will not do. GOING BACK TO CC RENTALS - the ONLY real GAME in NYC production trucking. STAY AWAY FROM THESE TRUCK PRINCESSES"

"I was on a school bus in Manhattan and we were in heavy trafic, and i was so bored, so I motioned to the edge truck diver to honk and he did. Then we started playing rock paper siccors and he did but then he chose shoot and started finger shooting and I pretend to be shot, then he did it again. Then I chose shoot and he pretend to get shot and then he fell on his steering wheel pretending to be dead and his horn went off because his head fell on it. Then we played rock paper siccors normally. He is a skinny white male with a beard and wearing a cap (he might have been tall, idk) please give this man a raise he deserves it. Made my day. Best driver I ever met."
