"The biggest mistake I ever made was dealing with the New Rochelle Nissan. They are all robbers and hungry for money. Last year, in March 2023, I bought rogue SV for lease for 18 months. They gave me a good deal which was $325 per month. I appreciate that. But I was not interested in leasing for just 18 months. So, I told the dealer that I can take the vehicle right now if it’s for 24 months. They said they can’t do that. Later, after some bargaining, she said they can only give for 18 months now. But when you reach near the lease end, I cancel, them or come in person and they can extend for 6 more months with same payment. I trusted them. So, after like 14 or 15 payments, I went to dealer in person and talked to them about extending lease period. That time they said that offer ended. Every year, these offers will change. No one told me about these. And then I received many calls from them stating that if needed, I can return the car to them before the lease ends, and they will waive the remaining payments. Because some other customer was waiting to buy the car since I have low miles. I drove just under 8500 miles in 17 months. But I was not ready and was planned to wait till the end of the lease period. Still, I received many calls again from them. Then I changed my mind and decided to return the car with the remaining one last payment. When I went to return the car, I made sure the guy who I was returning the number plates about waiving the last payment. He said OKAY. He didn’t say anything. After some weeks, when I signed in to Nissan account, I noticed that they included the remaining last payment with the disposition fees. I was totally upset about their dealing. I went to Nissan in person, and they said, if I was buying a new car or if it was for 36 months period, they would waive like that. In this case, it is a loss to them. That’s what they said. If I knew it before, I would never return the car and would keep it until it ends. Why would I pay after returning the car for no reason? They never disclose any of this vital information to me. Every time, they say different things and different people too. It is not about money or whatever. It is like cheating. That’s what made me upset. I can understand most of the car dealers are so crooked. I have been many times to buy the car with different dealers. But I never had an experience like this. STAY AWAY FROM THEM…."
