"This is a work-in-progress review. I will update it as the Genesis of White Plains addresses the issue. As of July 29, I have decided not to accept the manager's offer. I found the process to be condescending and felt that my time was not respected. I'm pleased to see that my review is prominently displayed now. While many reviews are positive, it’s important for potential customers to understand my experience and how the company handles serious complaints. As an Asian customer, I’ve noticed a lack of positive feedback from others in the same community. Although I don’t want to speculate, I believe this might be a factor worth considering. As of July 21, I received a reply from one of the managers after sending multiple emails. To respect their privacy and fairness, I won't disclose their offer here. If they wish, they can share it as a comment. I have requested a new offer from them. As of July 15, no managers have replied to my email regarding the formal complaint. This is truly unbelievable. Even the response to my Google review was untrue; they did not contact me to resolve the issue. It is apparent that they do not care about customers after selling a car. I am still waiting to hear from them. As of July 8, no one has replied to my emails (sent to 3 managers and the salesperson) which were sent on July 2 and 3. There is a review comment by White Plain of Genesis today. It is obvious that a review is more concerning than a customer's direct email. Original posting on July 3, 2024 I purchased a GV70 on July 1st, 2024. When I got home, I noticed that the engine hood was unaligned (please see the photos), with a significantly larger gap on the passenger side, which is easily noticeable. I contacted Genesis of White Plains and received the following response: "It is more or less a known design quirk and shows no indication of your vehicle or that part being defective." I was shocked by this response. Is a cosmetic defect expected when you buy a brand-new car? I simply asked for it to be fixed, but they have been denying my request. Additionally, I had to wait over two hours to sign the final contract due to mismanagement in their finance department. During this time, they offered me an extended warranty, claiming it was a significant discount. Unfortunately, I trusted them. After getting home and trying to learn more about the warranty (they didn’t even give me the full contract pages; I had to request them via email), I realized I had obviously overpaid. I can't believe they made me wait over two hours, made me think I was getting a great deal, and then offered me an overpriced warranty. If you are savvy, have a keen eye, and can negotiate with car dealers (unfortunately, I lack these talents and trusted Google reviews because there were many positive ones), then you might manage with this dealership. However, if you are like me, please stay away. I'm leaving this review for others who might be similar to me and to prevent them from being treated like I was. I have requested the email contacts of the general manager and the finance department supervisor but have yet to receive them (I don’t understand why sharing email addresses takes so long). I will continuously update this review as the situation develops. I hope my review provides some useful information. I am very disappointed."

"This was my first time dealing with Genesis but I was so impressed with this dealership and the whole process. Adilson was extremely helpful and accommodating. I drove in from over two hours away to buy a CPO vehicle and he had me in and out within an hour. No games or tricks, no attempts to sell anything else, and just great service.
