Had to ask for a side-salad after an hour just to have something to eat. I know it was a busy night, but not once did they offer any idea of the wait time, apologize, or offer something- anything- to ease the wait time."
"I paid $21 plus tax for a brisket dinner. It came with brisket and 2 sides. I ordered salt potatoes and cole slaw. I got THREE small potatoes that werent even salty. Salt potatoes are supposed to be served with melted butter too. No butter. Then the coleslaw was absolutely terrible. It was in a small half cup size plastic cup. It was so vinegary that i couldnt eat it. Plus, it was spicy for some reason. The brisket itslef, waz maybe 4 ounces and it was a layer of fat on the top and the bottom and the side was so overcooked i couldnt eat it. The rest of it was good, but only maybe 2 ounces was good. DEFINITELY NOT worth the money. Oh and by the way, also got a roll that was maybe 2 inches in diameter. SMALL portions/ BIG price! If you want a great brisket dinner, go to Sloans or Big Als in Oneonta!"
"Had a fabulous dinner there tonight and the brisket special with fresh corn on the Cobb and seasoned fries was excellent! The beer and wine also hit the spot. The staff were attentive, polite and very friendly and welcoming. We shall be regulars for sure."
"We just had our "Barnhart Family Holiday Dinner" here today. We would like to give Rodney and Judy the biggest "Thank You" for an awesome meal and a super job getting it done for us. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed themselves here. We booked our next holiday dinner for December 2023. What a great place and super people. Top notch all the way. PS, the gang said the beer tasted great too."
