Rubera's Restaurant 360 Main Street, Otego, NY 13825

"Skip the drive through and go to Rubera's! My family and I were headed through town and took a chance based on it being family owned and good reviews. It was 100% worth it. The owner served us herself and made us feel like family, even bringing out games for my three kids to play. I felt so much like I was at her house that I even was looking for the towel in the bathroom, forgetting I was in an actual restaurant. The food. Oh my goodness, the food! It was so good. So filling and we had plenty of leftovers. All of us left saying how happy we were that we chose to stop there for dinner. Great job Rubera's!"

"First, the owners are lovely. I wish I could give a better review because I liked them. Unfortunately, the food was awful. I stopped in a few years back and the pizza was terrible. I went again recently giving a second chance but was disappointed again. I’ve had better pizza from the case in Mirabito which is pretty sad. Even my 6 year old wouldn’t eat the pizza and he’s never snubbed his nose at pizza before. I won’t be going back."

"Garlic knots are AMAZING!!! Staff was friendly. Pizza was very tasty, the garbage wrap is delightful and the Buffalo wrap a traditional winner. Did I mention the garlic parm knots!"

"Unbelievably rude. Honestly, I've never been treated so badly by small town restaurant owners. The woman was obnoxious, the husband was slack jawed and like a deer in headlights after his wife made a scene in their own restaurant. After asking around about the food, 2 out of 3 locals told me that it sucks. Not surprising. Bad attitude = bad food."

"Horribly disappointed. I don't write many reviews about food because everyone has different taste buds. So something that I might enjoy the next person might not. With that being said I just brought some wings from Rubera's pizza. I ordered hot BBQ wings WELL DONE. I got my order and went to my truck. As I opened the container the smell was wonderful. I tasted the sauce it was great. But the wings were so undercooked I wouldn't feed these to my worst enemy. They were so soft and chewy. Uneditable. I spent $10 on food that should never been served. I even asked for well done as you see in the picture below. I advise anyone who wants to eat the wings here. Don't. Go elsewhere."
