Budget Car Rental

"Typical Budget. I was happy that with the line getting the car since people from other desks came over to help. That is rare and I was happy to see that to get the line moving. The rental place is a ride from the airport. It was about ten minutes away. That caught me off guard. Lately it seems they never have the car I rented and the same happened here. They tried putting me in a truck, but I was driving a few hours away so I talked them into something a little more fuel efficient. I had no bags so I just needed to get to a meeting. I have switched to Budget from Enterprise and I will continue to use them."

"I can no longer recommend BCR at the Buffalo airport. The last few times we were given older cars with over 30,000 miles and they were filthy. They looked like they came from a repo lot. Badly worn tires. Granted, they offer the cheapest rates saving a few bucks isn’t worth it. Zoom in on the photos."

"I recently rented a 6-seater Chrysler Pacifica Mini Van plug-in hybrid from Budget for a 6-day trip, and my overall experience was positive. Initially, I was worried about booking through Budget due to the low ratings on Google Maps, but I didn't have much choice, so I decided to try my luck. I'm glad I did, as it turned out to be my best experience with a car rental so far. At the counter, I had to wait for about 15 minutes. The staff was fine—neither exceptionally great nor bad. However, I did receive the exact car I booked, which was a pleasant start. The car itself was in excellent condition. We traveled with 6 people—4 adults, a 10-year-old, and a 3-month-old infant. The vehicle was incredibly comfortable for all of us, and everyone loved it. Over the course of the trip, I drove over 600 miles and achieved an impressive fuel efficiency of 32 mpg, spending only $83.50 on gas. The drop-off process was smooth and hassle-free, making the end of the rental experience as positive as the beginning. Overall, I highly recommend Budget for their reliable vehicles and satisfactory service."

"Bad experience. I did not get the exact car what mentioned earlier. I got hyundai genesis sedan.I supposed to get Kia soul or equivalent to it. The staff forced me to have electric car or hyundai genesis sedan. Also the sedan was smelled worst (vaped) my entire family and my kid were disappointed we waited to get rid of the smell from the car..but not helped a lot. Also I was forced to pay 54$+ to have this car by no choice on the night. I request to revert/claim back of the money that paid 54$ plus. Booking id was 18116864. Hope someone call or mail me regarding this concern."

"The entire experience from start to finish was a nightmare. Upon check in , the 3 women at the desk were more interested in their phones and watching tik toks than they were customer service. We were given the wrong direction to locate the vehicle which took over 30 mins and when we did finally locate the vehicle it was filthy dirty on the inside and the outside (we have photos of this). When we got to our hotel at 1:30am I realized that I had been grossly overcharged for the rental and emailed customer service about it. Nothing could be done about it. I had to call back in to customer service and ask for the $75 to be credited. However I still received no explanation on the additional charges I was billed. The vehicle itself was in poor condition, tire pressures were so low and despite putting air in, kept losing air, brake rotors were completely warped and every time the brakes were applied the front end had horrible headshake. Very disappointed in the service received."
