"Apparently Hertz Buffalo Airport is below zero to the point they are not on the maps, and here I am adding another zero to them for their messed up service while standing in their unorganized customer service, take it from a platinum who rented four times from them in the past for months each was for almost a month. Poor Hertz with their hard work to lose their customers. Oh, by the way, a few yards away you will find other rental companies."
"Cannot even speak to someone, how do they expect business? Called the number, tried to contact a local employee about my in progress rental. It rang for 2 mins and then hung up. Tried again, rang for 2 mins and then hung up. I have tried calling 7 times in an hour and the same thing. How is there no one in this organization that can talk with me? I can’t do what I need over their preset options or the website, what should I do? Terrible experience from this company. Will be doing business with other car rentals from now on."
"I was flying from Nashville to Buffalo and had reserved a car for Memorial Day weekend for Saturday morning pickup at the Sheridan Dr. location. I used my AAA discount- the original reason I chose Hertz. I had a funeral to attend at 9:15 in Orchard Park. Hertz' hours on Saturdays are 9-1 pm. I knew I wouldn't make it to the church on time, so my sister drove to Hertz, spoke to Manager Tabitha in person about my situation and then I was on speaker with Tabitha. She was VERY accommodating. As the manager of the location she said she would be there early (8 am) and promised to have my car cleaned up and ready to go by 8:30. I arrived at 8:25 or so and the car was ready. Tabitha was very professional, friendly, personable and so very helpful. The check-in process was smooth and quick. I made it to the funeral service on time. I absolutely will recommend this Hertz location to anyone I know who lives in the Northtowns or will be travelling to the Northtowns. This is my first experience with Hertz and it was a 10/10. "my son in law went to this location and the employees were very aggressive- they saw where he parked his car and did not say anything to him and his car ended up being towed because apparently he was not parked in a correct lot. Instead of calling this to his attention they allowed him park there and he ended up paying close to $600 to get his car back. Very unscrupulous. When he went to address this with Hertz the employees were very aggressive and refused to reimburse him."
"Worst customer experience I've ever had. I parked my personal vehicle in front of the Hertz location, only to have it towed. I spent over 2 hours trying to talk to someone from Hertz, but they never answered their phone during business hours. I finally went there, after finding my own vehicle and paying over $500 to the tow company, and felt as if I was going to be physically assaulted by the unstable Hertz employees behind the counter who tried to ridicule me, saying there was nothing that could be done because I "assumed" I could park there. There were no signs indicating I couldn't park there, and the same employee stood next to me while I unloaded and left my vehicle there, without ever telling me I couldn't park there. I had to then Uber home. Tabatha the manager said no Hertz stores have any personal parking, which I corrected her that they do. Another employee said I was the only one who would assume I could park in the parking lot in front of their location- I corrected them because the tow company said they frequently tow Hertz renters from this location and Hertz has continued to not do anything about it. Tabatha then admitted that it has been an issue, however nothing has been done such as putting up a sign, or even tell people they can't park there while you stand next to them and watch them park there, for a 4 day rental. I've never been made as a customer to feel this way by employees or a company in my life. I expediatly left, as I felt like I was going to be physically confronted by the employees behind the counter who continued to become agitated for some reason, while not once did I ever raise my voice, or even express any aggressive language that would have caused them to become so aggressive towards me. I will never use them again, and neither should anyone else."
