"So good! The Zealous burger was so flavorful and fresh. Even the basic burger impressed and both were cooked to a perfect medium rare. I asked the server what the most popular side was and she emphatically said the potato salad…and I see why! No need to “upgrade” to fries or tots; it’s awesome, don’t even mess with salt and peppper, it’s seasoned to perfection. Top it all off with genuinely kind staff and you won’t be disappointed."
"Fun farmhouse feel. Great, personable service. Phenomenal food and beer. Best burger I’ve had in probably a year. Got a flight of 5 beers for $10. Great value and every beer was good. Would absolutely recommend for lunch/dinner after hot day at the fields. Took our son here for his night away from Cooperstown and it did not disappoint. Spurburger, Zealous burger and garlic pesto fries were the stars of the show!"
"Good beer but horrible management. We each ordered sandwiches with chips, 5 minutes later we were informed that they ran out of chips. Waitress offered substitutes of coleslaw, potato salad, or fries. We all ordered fries. 5 minutes later we were informed that the fries would be an up charge of $2 per order. The waitress didn’t think to mention this when she took our order. Manager came over and refused to give us the French fries. As someone who’s been in the restaurant business, the standard thing to do is offer the French fries free of charge for the inconvenience….not only did that not happen but the manager didn’t even offer an apology. Just kept saying it’s not her fault the delivery truck didn’t come. We all got the potato salad which was subpar at best. Disappointing service and management practices so unfortunately we will not be back, despite the beers being quite good. Would recommend going here for the beers but would definitely not recommend eating here."
"This place is amazing! Every beer is perfect and their food tastes so good it'll make you wanna slap your momma. We started with the fried green beans served in a darling little fry basket, and for entrees we had the haddock patty with red potato salad and the SpurBurger II. I had a full pour of the Leatherstocking Brown Ale and a small pour of the Sleeping Lion Red Ale and the Irish Red."
"This place was absolutely spectacular. From the food to the service, all around top notch. I have a dairy allergy and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I could eat what I ordered. They helped me navigate the menu and went back and forth to double check each ingredient to make sure it was safe. The food itself was also delicious, definitely recommend the zealous burger. Furthermore, I have a tailbone injury at the moment and was standing most of the time and they were so accommodating and asking if they could get me anything, a comfier seat, even asking to get a sweatshirt from their own car for me to sit on. Thank you Lindsey and Becky and all of the staff for going above and beyond. Truly a place worth stopping!"
