"Right outside of Cooperstown, Jerry’s Place is a real home run. A classic roadside restaurant, with great service, bright decor, delicious burgers, fries, grilled chicken sandwiches, sausage and peppers, and veggie burgers (which are hard to find in the menu) and the best Hershey’s ice cream (which locals know isn’t made by the chocolate company). I feel instantly happy whenever I drop by for lunch at Jerry’s. It’s probably the lunch boxes that bring back happy childhood memories. Make it a point to visit Jerry’s when coming to Cooperstown NY."

"A local treasure, we've been bringing our kids here since they were little, and it's still a favorite. The place changed hands a while back, and we're happy to see some improvements while the decor and menu stayed unchanged - still classic burgers and fries, a great selection for kids, and ice cream and shakes to finish it off. Love seeing the lunch box collection, the train and the playground for the kids, hope to come back soon!"

"Ample parking, ramp to enter for handicap accessibility, menus are available, and nearly everywhere you look, greeted with a friendly smile, fast service, affordable, pricing, compared to other ice cream shops in the area, ample places to sit whether you want inside a covered porch or park benches, place for the children to play on the swingset. Overall great experience will come back again. Ice cream itself good flavor decent size, the visual of my twist on the ice cream could be improved, no complaints"

"Very nice little place. Pleasant atmosphere decent food.. very retro looking dinner and ice cream. Decorated in a coke theme. And decorated with hundreds of vintage lunchboxes and model cars. There is even a toy train that runs around the dining area near the ceiling. The food and the ice cream is always worth the trip. I highly recommend you stop in. They are closed during the winter season."

"What a fantastic experience we had at Jerry’s Place today! The owners have invested so much thought into their customers comfort. The kids had a great time playing in the arcade and the parents enjoyed a relaxed lunch not needing to worry about the kids getting antsy. The food is simple, tasty and reasonably priced.
