"Overall the place was great. I had a pina colada. It could have been a little stronger. The food was good. I had fish tacos. They came double wrapped in corn tortillas which was a little much at times. I wish the wait staff had asked what type of shell I wanted. That being said there was an abundance of filling making the double shell not as noticeable. My wife had a fajita skillet. I tried a bit of that as well. The meat was a little dry from overcooking on the skillet; but no point removed because that can be helped. The only issue with her dish was that the shells came wrapped in foil and not a shell container, so they got a little soggy. Atmosphere was great other than the sticky thick plastic table toppers. They are the kind that are always tacky and sticks to your arms, providing you with a slight discomfort throughout the meal. All in all we will definitely be going back at some point."
"Great Place- food is delicious! Prices are fair! Busy place- with one waitress who was bustin her butt! Excellent service! Overall great addition to the depressing valley. I hope the owners read this next part- please get your bathrooms some attention- ladies room needs a good cleaning and updating. There is dried brown liquid ( soda or coffee) on the walls and doors. The doors themselves are covered in grime."
"Nice little Mexican restaurant less than 1/4 mile off the 90. Perfect location as I was making my way from Albany to Buffalo and needed to stop to grab food. I got the "Super Burrito" and boy was it big! Came out hot and fresh with plenty of toppings and flavor. You also get a complimentary bowl of fresh tortilla chips and salsa while you wait for your food. Everything was delicious and came out quick! Price was also very reasonable for the portion offered. Definitely beats any rest stop along the highway!"
"Stopped by for a quick lunch. They are relatively new so they are getting the kinks out. Meals start with chips and salsa. They fry their own chips which is great. My only complaint was that the chips tasted like they were cooked in oil that should have been changed sooner. The rest of the food was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. We definitely will be back. Just to update: we stopped again for lunch and the chips and salsa were delicious! We both had the La Palma burritos. My bride had hers with steak and I had mine with Al pastor. They were absolutely delicious! Also, I had a chili relenos which is available individually for 3.50. It was a seared poblano pepper stuffed with cheese and topped with an enchilada style sauce. It was also delicious! Many times chili relenos are battered and deep fried. This was not but still tasted excellent! Very reasonably priced and great tasting authentic food. Highly recommended!"
"Went on a friday, wasnt extremely busy so we were seated rather quickly. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The fact that they kept the train theme was welcomed. Some of the decor a tad bit cheeseball but in a good way. Our waitress was very quick and attentive. My only gripe is my menu had some wet salsa in the pages when i opened it. Not a big deal though. The complementary chips and salsa were warm and fresh which made for a good start to our meal. Our food was out very quickly. I ordered the Carne Ranchera and my Girlfriend ordered the sampler platter. First impression when the food came out other than that was quick, was that the portions were huge and looked amazing. The Carne Ranchera was very good. I feel there could of been more of a kick (spice wise) but there are multiple kinds of hot and sweet sauce bottles on the tables to help with that. The Sampler platter was definately loaded, the empanadas and quesadillas were done well. the cheesesticks and poppers are pretty much as expected. To top it off the bill was not that pricey for the 2 of us. As for our first time here i want to sayit was a success and i would reccommend stopping for dinner. I will definitely be back to try some other items."
