Reviews
"We found this place on Google. The reviews looked good so we decided to try it while we were in visiting some relatives of my girlfriends and I got to tell you this place really impressed me. It’s like a diamond and a rough little bit off the unbeaten path, but it’s on the water. It’s amazing views. The staff was absolutely amazing. Everything we had ordered was delicious. I had the stuff sold. There were so much crab meat in the two fillets. It was mine blowing. The drinks were strong. I thought the pricing was very good for what we got. The quality was commensurate. I would absolutely go back myself and recommend walking out to the pier at night. It was pretty cool. A lot of people were out there crabbing and that was kind of need to see and there was enough ice cream truck out there on the pier as well great place look forward to returning."
"Overall, I was expecting more. The waiter never asked us if we wanted any drinks. They brought us water, and that was all. Food was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The appetizer was actually really good. We had grilled octopus. My daughter had a pasta dish. And I had the stuffed filet o sole. It was good, but nothing that I would be craving to go back. This restaurant has an older crowd. Music was ok. It was clean. It is expensive compared to other really good Italian restaurants. The desserts were good but nothing amazing. Would it be a choice to come back? No, really. Would I say any bad thing about it? Not really. It is just not that special of a place."
"Still pissed about this. The manager insisted I take a dessert to make up for my meal being ruined. I just didn’t have the time to wait for them to remake the soup. Their staff completely forgot our bread, we had to remind them, and when it finally came out our burger and this monstrosity were served. To elaborate, no it didn’t come like this, I asked for a TON of cheese as I should and then said I wanted red pepper….the waitress who dumped a massive spoonful of red pepper to a point where my jaw was dropped. She looked like she was laughing about it later when I was sweating over the spice. I tried to eat it. I ended up bringing it home for my husband to eat. He eats spicy peppers raw like they’re nothing and even he said this was too spicy. We let our waitress know before eating that we were coming in to eat at my aunts favorite restaurant, as she died just the other day. As a person who has worked as management in food service for the majority of my young adult life, this is unheard of. The meal made me physically sick. I hate returning food. I hate complaining. Very dissatisfied. We have been coming here well over a decade as our family reunion spot. I suppose with my aunts passing, and the awful service, we may reconsider coming again. The manager was nice and doing his best, but we didn’t come for dessert and I certainly wouldn’t have accepted if my mother hadn’t been delighted by the surprise. They seemed to be overwhelmed by the one dining room at 60 maybe 70% capacity. This place is much too expensive to risk another issue. This also is not the first issue I’ve had here, but in the past, almost every other visit, my food will not be cooked properly (asking for rare steak and receiving medium well) or on other occasions not made as the menu describes. I often order their seafood medley, and they will almost always have omitted something. One time I found a large piece of clear flexible plastic in my seafood medley. I don’t believe that’s what they call it. These kinds of things are adding up to an improperly governed restaurant. I surely hope that there are adjustments made. If the food wasn’t so delicious, I’d give 1 star, and not consider coming back at all. Please get your house in order folks! Edit: I almost forgot to mention but after seeing the overwhelming negative reviews it seems I’m not alone in my frustration with the quality/cook of the food, but we had called to make a reservation for a window table, which was not an issue, but not recorded. We had to wait about 15/20 to sit. We were so hungry we mentioned that we wanted the bread right away, asked that it be hot because every time it’s cold and hard, and the people who came after us were not only seated before us because they said they were first and were not in the business of arguing, but they got their bread first. My mother asked at the end for a couple of slices of bread to go and they said it would be $10. The waitress also talked us out of buying drinks (we didn’t even come to eat - we meant simply to toast to our lost loved one)."
"If you are looking for the place with tasty food and beautiful views, then I highly recommend this restaurant. I ordered the fish and I want to compliment the chef because the fish was cooked according to my wishes and it was really delicious!"
"Came late last night but was disappointed in food quality. Have been here many times ordering this same dish of bow tie pasta with crab meat in a pink sauce. This time the sauce was liquid and no taste with practically no crabmeat. Granted we were there late but the high prices were not less for the quality of our meals. My partners chicken Marsala equally had runny sauce and just chicken pieces thrown in. Don't know if I will go back again at these prices. Too bad bc the service and atmosphere are great."
