"Ordered the plantain fries, fried shrimp meal with Mach and cheese and collard greens, soul roll, oxtail patty, salt fish patty, black cake and strawberry crumble cake. The soul rolls and black cake were amazing. The plantain fries with oxtail was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The plantains weren't ripe so the were hard and dry. That mac and cheese needed salt the collard greens were mediocre. The patties were ok."
"As a party of 5 we went for a birthday on a Wednesday around 4pm and were immediately accommodated by the staff although they don’t technically do sit and serve yet. This place is more of a take out spot. The staff and owner were beyond friendly making us feel right at home. They put together seating for us and made arraignments on the menu for special diets for one of the people in our party. We stay for about three hours and they staff kept our drinks flowing. Some of the drinks were stronger than other for the alcoholic choices, most of the non alcoholic beverages were on the sweet side. The food choices were good, the take out menu differs from the in house menu slightly. Worth going in person to see what they have. This Jamaican southern fusion style is perfect for summer vibes. Their oxtail, salmon and ackee and salt fish patties are good, the crust is flaky, the meat is seasoned well and it’s a great appetizer. We had the oxtail fries, the wings with mac and cheese, the salmon sliders with fries and the sweet chili salmon bites with rice and peas and plantains. Everything was delicious and came out hot. If you’re looking for a new spot to grab some grub, give this spot a try. Between the food and the service, you can’t go wrong."
"Babyyyyyy when I say you need to run not walk, but RUN here! I saw this place on Instagram and when I came I was not disappointed! I had the oxtail loaded fries, garlic shrimp work Rasta pasta and Mac & cheese, and also the soul rolls! 10/10 highly recommend! Not to mention the bathroom was clean! The customer service was amazing and special shoutout to Dimitri."
"Okay so I ordered pick up, lemon pepper salmon with Mac and cheese and plantains. When I got there the food wasn’t ready yet and they didn’t have plantains. When I got my food the salmon was sooo damn slatttyyyyy and I’m pissed cuz I spent 28 dollars for me not even to eat my main dish! The Mac and cheese was good can’t lie. Thats the only thing I ate. The mash potatoes was basic at best. Would I come here again? No cuz that salmon really put a bad taste in my mouth. But I definitely think you should give it a try."
