"This is my favorite bar in the city. It has everything…the burger (and all food) is insanely good. There is incredible jazz on Mondays and Wednesdays. A great happy hour every day. Trivia on Tuesdays. Top tier cocktails and a great beer selection. Amazing bartenders. I have only 10/10 things to say!"
"I stumbled upon this charming restaurant while walking down the street and was immediately drawn to it by the menu displayed outside, allowing you to check out the options before stepping in. It was a beautiful day, and we initially wanted to sit outside, but the patio was packed, so we opted to stay inside. The restaurant is quite intimate, with small tables, making it more suited for smaller parties. The food was excellent! We ordered the Shrimp and Grits, which were absolutely amazing—10/10! We also had the classic breakfast, which I'd highly recommend if you're not feeling too adventurous. The service was great; no complaints there. Definitely check out this restaurant if you're in the area!"
"A slice of the 11th arrondissement in Brooklyn. Great food, drinks, and atmosphere here at Le Pistol. One of the hippest spots in the neighborhood for sure."
"Stopped here before a concert and I loved this little gem! The drinks were so good and the salmon was so delicious! The atmosphere is chic and the service exceeded my expectations. Our server Cesar did a great job and made sure we were never low on drinks! I will definitely return here for brunch next time because their brunch menu looked yummy too! Do yourself a favor and dine here!"
"Two frenchies walk into a French brunch bistro in Brooklyn, and oh la la what could possibly go wrong?! Le Pistol brunch in Brooklyn is a delightful mix of culinary excellence and cultural confusion. The food? Magnifique. The ambiance? Well, let's just say, they got some distinct French things wrong and some things very right. Firstly, the servers were way too friendly. In a true French restaurant, you expect a healthy dose of disdain with your meal. Secondly, the size of the orange juices was laughable. In France, you would get a size able OJ, but here, it was more like a shot glass. Paying $5 for half an orange seems excessive even for Brooklyn, especially as these oranges come from Orange County, they’re not even Champagne import (like us). The breakfast toasts were a curious affair. Served deconstructed, we were essentially tasked with sandwich assembly. Perhaps the kitchen staff were channeling their inner French by making us work for our meal. Halfway through our ‘petit’ toasts, we caved and ordered pancakes, hoping they'd arrive before dinner. To our relief, they were American-sized fluffy pancakes, a stark contrast to the expected deconstructed crepes. Overall, Le Pistol gets an A+ for food and an F for French authenticity—maybe minus the long wait for the food to arrive and being included in the labor of making brunch happen. So in that sense, a little taste of home. All blagues aside, Pistolet is a solid brunch option and who needs Paris when you've got Brooklyn?"
