"Came here for the Sunday donuts and was quite underwhelmed but the crepes were much better! The egg sandwiches were delicious as well as the dumpling soup, but prepare yourself for a bowl full of dill!"

"We loved everything about this place! The food is nearly impeccable, the service was perfectly balanced and attentive. The vibe and decor is so thoughtful and well executed. We ordered every single dish on the menu except for the pork, dumplings, and toast and absolutely loved it. My only note is that the pastrami was fattier than expected (20-30% fat) for my taste, but the flavors were still incredible. I would come here again and again."

"Love love loved the chicken liver mousse. Creamy, sweet, decadent — it was easy to eat on the pull away bread. I didn’t enjoy the deviled eggs as much. The caesar salad was fun, the potato crumbs really added to the dish for me."

"Caveat: I still want to go back someday during brunch, hoping this will be a better experience. I went for dinner at Agi’s, expecting them to be serving their full menu of sandwiches also during dinner (on their website it says Weekday menu, which means all days of the week, and not week days [as in lunch time]). Miss number 1. When we arrived we had to wait 25 minutes for our table, and we had a reservation. Miss number 2. After sitting down, I asked our very friendly server what was the dish the table next to us was eating. It was a very big fish dish. He said what it was and I said “OK, let’s do this”. When the dish came, it was a different, appetizer size, dish. It was good, if too acidic, but not what I wanted. Miss number 3. If you go to their website, the first picture is of a delightful cheesecake. We were excited to see on the board that the special that day was… cheesecake! When we got to the ordering dessert part… there was no cheesecake. Instead we ordered a very average cookie with jam, which seemed to be leftover dough from the cheesecake. Miss number 4. I wanted to like Agi’s counter so much, as the atmosphere is great, the people working there were vibing and the music was awesome. I was not very impressed with the dinner food at all, though."

"What a spot. Everything was incredible, this is probably on my top 3 NYC places. The beetroot tartare and deviled eggs are to die for. The cheesecake memorable. Original, full of flavours, congratulations to the chef! I also love the ambiance. We went for dinner and we’re worried it would feel too much like a brunch spot, but the place is actually great for dinner with just the right ambiance. Will be back for sure"
