"I usually don't go for Thai food, but my date chose this place, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it took the staff 20 minutes to take our order, though they were very sweet and polite throughout. As a big calamari fan, I was disappointed with their offering: the portion was scarce, the flavor was bland, and it felt overpriced for what we received. However, wanting to try something new, I opted for the coconut curry crab pasta, and it turned out to be one of the best dishes I've had in a long time. The flavors were rich and delicious, making it a standout. While leaving the restaurant, we noticed that their grade was hidden behind some items, revealing a C rating. Despite the good food, especially the pasta, I believe it's important for patrons to be aware of the restaurant's grade."

"Khaosan is a beautiful place to definitely visit when craving delicious Thai fare. The place is pretty and serves up some of the best Thai dishes in all of New York city. The siracha wings, Thai chicken dumplings and the fresh summer roll give the meal a grand start. The summer special Hor Mok (Tilapia and Crab Meat cakes, baked to perfection) also adds to the grandeur and is a must try. For the mains, the spicy basil chicken fried rice was delish and amazing while the Khao Mok Gai ( Fried Chicken and Traditional Thai Turmeric rice with Hot and Sweet Sauce) is beautiful and a summer special as well. To end such and extravagant fare, desserts were not too far behind with the homemade Mango icecream served with Blue sticky rice and Thai Tea crepes with Coconut icecream and homemade Caramel sauce setting the dessert fare to another level. All of this paired with delicious cocktails provides a unique experience while dining at Khaosan NYC."

"What a pleasant surprise! This location has been home to several restaurants in recent years, so when I met friends here for dinner the other night I wasn't sure what to expect. We had a lovely time. The environment was very pleasant, the servers were all wonderful, and the food was delicious. In addition the menu has a great selection including a nice choice of virgin cocktails which I thought was nicely inclusive."

"Love this spot! Came here for lunch on a rainy Wednesday and it was so soothing and zen. The lunch special is awesome - loved their pad Thai and the dainty little side salad you get. The servers were so nice too and, you can tell, put a lot of care into how they treat customers. Coming back for another lunch. 5 stars!!!"
