"We ordered 5 dozen for thanksgiving dinner and they were a hit with everyone at the party! Will definitely order more for Christmas. After the holidays we are looking forward to order custom ones like the shrimp and the crab. Thank you so much for these delicious pasteles."
"I'm really sorry, these pasteles lack character. They taste like they used only pmantains and the meat tasted like it was simply stewed with no sofrito. No peppers or olives in the meat and no pigeon peas. I really wanted to like them, but no Puertor Rican native would say these are any good. There is more to making pasteles then simply grating some plantains and stuffing them with some poorly seasoned meat."
"After heating The (Frozen) pasteles I took home from here they actually looked, and smelled authentic. Upon closer inspection though. they appeared to be a little tough (rubbery). We're talking not very fresh! I tried 3 different flavors. The beef was by far the best. The pork, and chicken tasted somewhat similar. I did not finish them. Lastly.. They clearly had a price of $2 each on their menu for the 3 flavors i purchased. But they charged $2.50. When i called later to complain. All they offered was a "Sorry"!"
"So happy we gave this place a try! I picked up two dozen (chicken/pork) for the holidays, but I just had to try one before then. It was delicious! I will definitely be back before christmas."
